Terms and Conditions

r3sit.ai is a receipt management service that allows users to capture receipt images, forward email receipts, and query their spending history using AI-powered extraction and natural language search.

The Service is intended primarily for personal use by individuals in Malaysia, though users from other countries may also use it. All monetary amounts are stored with precision in minor units (e.g., sen for MYR).

You must create an account to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate, complete information and to keep it up to date. Authentication is managed by Auth0. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. Accounts created on behalf of a company or organisation are subject to these same Terms.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload receipts related to illegal transactions or activities
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract the source code of the Service
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service beyond normal use
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data or our systems
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable Malaysian law or international law
• Forward spam, malicious emails, or content that is not receipt-like in nature to your inbound address

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

r3sit.ai offers two plans:

• Free — 50,000 tokens per month, at no cost.
• Pro — RM49.90/month — 1,000,000 tokens per month, plus access to the Tax Relief Dashboard.

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. Your card is charged at the start of each billing period. You can view your current usage and next billing date in the dashboard.

Cancellation: You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain Pro access until then. No partial refunds are issued for unused days in a billing period.

Payment failure: If a payment fails, we will notify you by email. Continued failure may result in your account being downgraded to the Free plan.

All prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

r3sit.ai may, as part of its feature set, suggest tax relief categories for your purchases based on LHDN (Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri Malaysia) guidelines.

This categorisation is informational only and does not constitute professional tax advice. Tax rules change and individual circumstances vary. You should consult a licensed tax consultant or chartered accountant before making any formal LHDN submissions or tax relief claims. r3sit.ai accepts no liability for errors in tax categorisation or reliance on AI-generated tax estimates.

The r3sit.ai platform, including its design, code, branding, and AI models, is owned by r3sit.ai and is protected by copyright and other applicable laws.

You retain ownership of your data. By uploading receipt images or forwarding emails to the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not use your receipt data to train AI models.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• AI extraction will be 100% accurate — always verify important amounts against original receipts
• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Tax relief categorisations will be accepted by LHDN or any tax authority

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, r3sit.ai's total liability for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or MYR 100, whichever is greater.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits.

You may delete your account at any time from the account settings page. We will permanently delete your data within 30 days of account deletion.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by law. We will notify you by email where reasonably practicable.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
